MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

Mothers of Preschoolers logoMum, you take care of your children. Who takes care of you? Kingston Mothers of Preschoolers encourages, equips and develops mothers of preschoolers to be the best mums, women and leaders they can be.

MOPS is run by mothers of preschoolers for mothers of preschoolers. We are dedicated to the message that "mothering matters" and understand that mums of young children need encouragement during these critical and formative years.

We run a program for the kids aged from birth to school-age, while mums enjoy a talk on a relevant topic, a chat over a cuppa with other mums, and a creative activity. It's all about mothers having time out, finding friendship and acceptance, providing opportunities for women to develop and practise leadership skills in a group, and promoting spiritual growth.

So if you are a mother of a preschooler, come along to MOPS! Have a cuppa and finish it while it is hot! Enjoy a piece of morning tea without needing to share it! Hear some great speakers without having to take anyone to the toilet, and finish a sentence without interruption!

Best of all though, come along to laugh and cry with other mums who understand the same highs and lows of being a mum of a preschooler.

MOPS meets once a fortnight on Mondays during school term between 10 am and 12 noon. Please ring the church office to find out when the next MOPS morning is. The cost is $6 per morning.
