Training

From time to time KCC run short courses and seminars. These are on diverse topics, some are theological, others on practical issues such as leading and parenthood.

Our formal courses come under the auspices of the CRC College of Ministry.

The CRC College of Ministry partners with the Australian College of Ministries. ACOM is a registered provider of government-accredited courses and a member of the Sydney College of Divinity.

The courses are as follows:

Certificate in Christian Studies: This is obtained by completing the requirements for the Video Bible College. It takes two years to complete this course. It is held one evening a week during the college terms at the church.

Certificate of Leadership: This offers skill development in various areas of church ministry.
These courses are held on 8 Saturdays in different locations across the State. This year the students from KCC are doing the course at Cranbourne.

Certificate of Ministry: This is a practical hands on ministry training courses and is especially for people who are very involved in ministry already. It is 12x two-day study blocks over 3 years. It is recommended for all pastors.

Certificate in Christian Ministry IV: This takes in both the Certificate of Leadership and the Video Bible School together with further units of study plus relevant coaching and assessment.

Diploma in Christian Ministry: This builds on the Certificate qualification, incorporating the studies of the Certificate of Ministry.

It is possible for students to obtain a Student Allowance from the Government for the Certificate IV course and the Diploma Course for full time study.
