The vision of Boys' Brigade is to reach boys for Christ through adventure activities, training and mentoring. Boys' Brigade seeks to develop good character in young boys that will be foundational to their future prospects in life.

The First Heatherton Company is located at Kingston City Church and has grown into one of the larger companies in the state.

Every Monday evening, over 25 boys aged between 10 and 15 gather at the church centre to train and enjoy adventure games, drills and skills training.

During the year, outings and camps are held for the boys to practise what they've learned.
The year culminates in a presentation event when the boys are rewarded for their work throughout the year.
